The Coaching Process<\/strong><\/p>\n

1st Question: \u00a0 \u00a0 What are we doing well\u2026?<\/p>\n

2nd Question: \u00a0 \u00a0What are we not doing so well\u2026?<\/p>\n

3rd Question: \u00a0 \u00a0 What can we work on\u2026?<\/p>\n

Follow these starter questions up with open ended questions to the players’ answers that guide the players… ‘What’\u2026’Why’\u2026’Where’\u2026’When’\u2026’How’\u2026’Where’\u2026?<\/p>\n

Allow the players the opportunity to think about the question\u2026<\/p>\n

The hardest part is that you as a coach know the answers\u2026you know where you want to take the players to in their understanding\u2026you may feel you want to step in and give the players the answers…<\/p>\n

The challenge is to ask questions that guide the players\u2026lead the players\u2026to come to the same point\u2026that lets them come up with the answers\u2026their answers…<\/p>\n

Patience is key when asking questions and waiting for the players’ responses…<\/p>\n
